Inside Andvora’s Changeover Workbench: Workflow, Evidence, and Demo Limits

A real implementation note about the product Andvora is building, with clear evidence limits. It shows what the demo lets you explore, not an outcome proven at a customer plant.

The operational problem being addressed

A “60-minute setup” summary hides the cause

The workbench is designed to help a team break changeover duration into stages and delay reasons, record startup scrap, capture first-piece QC approval, and follow up recurring causes. The PVC extrusion scenario shown here is simulated.

The implementation you can explore

One workflow from preparation through verification

  1. Prepare: set up the product transition profile and pre-stop checks.
  2. Execute: log work stages and delay reasons as they occur.
  3. Measure: record setup duration and startup scrap weight.
  4. Review: review cause distribution and QC approval status.
  5. Improve: assign corrective action, owner, and completion verification.

What this demo shows

  • The changeover workflow can be explored in a browser without connecting to a machine.
  • Delay, scrap, QC, and CAPA records are presented in one operational context.
  • A plant team can see the kinds of data to collect before a factory pilot.

Current evidence limits

A prototype is not a customer result

  • Displayed figures and names are simulated, not actual production baselines or results.
  • The demo does not prove a reduction in changeover time, scrap, or cost.
  • The demo runs on simulated local browser data; it does not demonstrate shared multi-user plant synchronization.
  • No automatic machine connection is part of this walkthrough.

How a pilot can establish business value

Compare like-for-like measures before and after

A pilot should first agree on the line, definitions, sources, and baseline period. Measure changeover duration per event, startup scrap per event, delay categories, QC gate adherence, and verified corrective actions. Report event counts and exclusions; translate results into financial value only when the cost assumptions are agreed and shown.

Andvora has not published a verified customer pilot result on this page. A customer case study will be added after the data is reviewed and publication permission is obtained.
